March 3, 2015 Resources: News is Bad; Word-less “Church”; Heart Prep; Inerrancy

by Jonathan Hamilton

Some resources for your consumption…several good articles and a conference livestream happening this week:

News Is Bad For You (not exactly a shocking revelation)

How can  a Word-less “Church” come anywhere near the biblical command to let the Word of Christ dwell richly in us?

Something every Christian ought ot be doing regularly: Preparing Your Heart for Worship

The Inflexibility of Inerrancy is part of a blog series pointing out the fact that many evangelicals pay lip service to Biblical inerrancy, yet eviscerate this crucial doctrine with their actions. It’s another reminder that just because someone makes a claim does not mean that claim is true (even if the ones claiming it actually believe themselves). Test everything.

The Inerrancy Summit Livestream is a link to a conference happening this week with speakers such as RC Sproul, Ligon Duncan, John MacArthur, Alistair Begg, Carl Trueman, Mark Dever, Sinclair Ferguson, Kevin DeYoung, and at least half a dozen more defending the doctrine of inerrancy.
